However, at $79 per night (plus $34 a night in hotel service fees) the price was very attractive and I found out why. Overall I would give the property a middle of the road rating. I saw a few people wait well over 15 minutes to get a cab while my Ubers were there in about 8 minutes. Valet was not overly helpful in getting guests a taxi and I ended up Ubering it to the convention center both mornings. I would pay another $10 for a buffet that offered a really nice spread for breakfast. No salmon or what I would consider higher end items. A salad bar with some desserts and a few other hot dishes like mac and cheese, rice and fried chicken. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and an omelette station. I see why the price is so attractive as the variety of food available was really minimal. I only had one meal on property and that was the $12.99 breakfast buffet. The service was okay but not over the top where I felt like family. With the exception of the ladies working the gift shop I answered that as a no. I received a survey from the hotel where they asked if the team members treated me like family. I recently spent 2 night at the Palace Station Hotel and Casino on a quick business trip to Las Vegas.
